Hula
A bilingual (Hawai’ian language), educational program featuring
age appropriate songs and dances to teach adults, children, and seniors about the wonderful and diverse culture of Hawai’i.

· Intermediate Hula
An advanced study of the hula for the serious student. Language, singing and kaona.
Tuesday/Thursday

· Hula
for Fitness
Information designed to educate people of all ages about the
physical and mental benefits of dancing this ages old dance. The program stresses the importance of exercise management, self-discipline
and continued physical activity. During the course, participants will learn
a complete hula and mele (dance and song).

History of Hawai’iana
An innovative approach to teaching children and adults about
the volatile nature of the formation of Hawai’i as we know it today. The focus of our program, held in elementary, junior high or high school settings, is
to help people understand the many aspects of the island’s politics, and also to rectify the many preconceived notions
of Hawai’ian culture. Any size group.
· Diversity Partnership Program
A cultural education program that can be delivered in any school
setting. This concept integrates youth into the customs of Hawai’I, while
providing invaluable cultural diversity education. Any size group.

is for Humuhumunukunukuapua’a
Did you know that the Hawai’ian language consists of only
12 letters? This study unit allows people of all ages to learn the pronunciation
and basic understanding of this exotic and nearly lost dialect of the Polynesian languages.

Materials
We offer a wide variety of brochures, handouts and school
curriculum for home or school study, highlighting the legends, crafts, history, dance, song, foods, religion and clothing
of the indigenous Hawai’ian people.
