Our family has been involved in the
teaching and performing of Hawai'ian culture and art for many generations, and the unique style and knowledge
has been carefully passed down over the years. Our cousin CHINO MONTERO who performs with AMY GILLIOM -
Generation Hawai'i (release date 8/22/06) - and formerly of the world famous singing group, PALOLO (Hawai'ian Girl,
Palolo and Kaliuwa'a), is a world-reknown and venerated musician specializing in the traditional and contemporary
songs of Hawai'i.

The Kumu/Director of this award winning performance
group has trained with the foremost Hawai'iana/Polynesian experts in the world; her mother, LOKELANI (Song Bird of Mau'i)
- LENA MACHADO and KU'ULEI STIBBARD; and VIOLA AKI - LOKALIA MONTGOMERY and MARY KAWENA PUKU'I.
Her parent's dynamic
Polynesian performing group, "LOKELANI'S ISLANDERS". "Lokelani's Islanders" was the first commercially successful Polynesian
dance and musician group within the state of California (1962), and it was through the individual efforts of Kumu Lokelani
that the Hawai'ian culture started to flourish on the West Coast. Lokelani performed for many years on the "Hawai'i Calls
- Under the Banyan Tree" as well as with Arthur Godrey, Don Ho, Bob Hope, her mentor Lena Machado and an array of
world renowned Hawai'ian entertainers. Today Lokelani still performs at private functions and venues.
